She writes across genres, including science fiction, horror, crime, fantasy and realism.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lauren\u2019s novels have been published in 24 countries and translated into 26 languages. She\u2019s also a comics writer, screenwriter, journalist and documentary maker.<\/p>\n<p>As a journalist, she covered stories on electricity cable thieves, HIV+ beauty pageants and has done ride-alongs with Cape Town\u2019s police through the ganglands.
