Special Guest: Øystein Runde
Vi præsenterer nu Special Guest, norske Øystein Runde. Øystein Runde er primært er kendt som tegneserieskaber, men også har gjort sig gældende indenfor mange andre medier, såsom podcast, film, børnebøger og illustreret videnskabsformidling. I sine serier leger han ofte med norsk historie og kultur, idet han blander moderniserede folkeeventyr og vikingaction med superhelte, retrofuturisme og steampunk.
Guest of Honour: Lauren Beukes
We hereby present a real scoop – our Guest of Honour #2, Lauren Beukes. Lauren Beukes is the international best-selling and award-winning author of “The Shining Girls”, now an AppleTV+ show starring Elisabeth Moss, “Zoo City”, “Broken Monsters” and “Afterland” among other books. She writes across genres, including science fiction, horror, crime, fantasy and realism.
Guest of Honour: Priya Sharma
We proudly present our first guest of honour, British fantasy and horror writer Priya Sharma! Her fiction has appeared in venues such as Interzone, Black Static, Nightmare, The Dark and Tor. Her short story “Fabulous Beasts” won a British Fantasy Award and was Shirley Jackson Award finalist. “All The Fabulous Beasts” is her short story collection from Undertow Publications was a British Fantasy Award and Shirley Jackson Award winner and a Locus Award finalist. “Ormeshadow”, her first novella (available from Tor), won a Shirley Jackson Award and a British Fantasy Award. Aliens, elves, AI, ghosts, gods and monsters – countless varieties of non-human intelligence are to be found in the genres Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Horror. In Fantasticon 2022 we will explore the subject of the conscious Other across the borders of the fantastic genres.
Fantasticon 2022
Fantasticon 2022 will take place on the 25th and 26th of June. The theme will be “Strange creatures”. Aliens, elves, AI, ghosts, gods and monsters – countless varieties of non-human intelligence are to be found in the genres Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Horror.
